Basement Basement   DOWN MONITORING This is the underground portion of the house that holds most of the mechanical systems for the house. Copper Thieves: Due to the house
being vacant, vandals broke into the house and ripped out most of the
copper from the basement, and damaged the furnace beyond repair.
    Windows DISRUPTED DISRUPTED There are 6 Windows in this room. Some of the windows have broken panes in them which are being repaired.
    Circuit Breaker Box DOWN OPERATIONAL The electrical system main box. The Circuit Breaker Box has been
replaced with an Outdoor Rated Box and new Breakers. The electrical service has been restored to all areas of the house.
    Propane (Formerly Oil) Furnace DOWN OPERATIONAL The propane furnace will be the main heating source for the house including hot water and baseboard hot water heat. It is our plan to transition to a Propane heating service and furnace. 

We need the chimney lined with a propane rated pipe.

2/8/19 Update: Chimney Liner installed!

2/10/19 Update: Furnace was fired up and we have full hot water service!

    Sump Pump DOWN OPERATIONAL When water gets into the Basement, it needs to be removed by the Sump Pump. This was replaced during the winter prior to renting of the property.
    Sewer Lines OPERATIONAL MONITORING The system to pipe out all of the liquid and semi-solid waste material in the house. The sewer PVC was all cut out when the joists were replaced. 

2/10/19 Update: All pipes except for the Sump Pump connection has been reconnected.

    Water Plumbing DOWN OPERATIONAL The inbound water for the entire house.  
    Joists & Main Girder DISRUPTED OPERATIONAL Most of the 54 joists and main girder are compromised by water and mold damage due to neglect. The Joists and Main Girder were replaced to the tune of $24,000.00 dollars and took the workers 5 days to complete once they started working.
    Electric DISRUPTED OPERATIONAL Plugs & Light Switches within the room. The wiring throughout the house has been completed!
    Water Meter DOWN OPERATIONAL The main connection from the town to the house for water service. The Water Meter for the town has
been reinstalled in the house and there is a garden hose currently
hooked up to it in order to get water when needed in the house.

    Living Room Fireplace DOWN DISRUPTED - Partial Service A full sized fireplace in the Living Room. The Living Room Fireplace has a
chimney that has been blocked off in the Attic and does not vent out of the house. We will be converting this into a vent-less propane
fireplace. 

Update: We have the propane fireplace in place, just waiting for the propane service to get installed.

Update: The floors are fixed! The Fireplace needs to have a mason come in and fix the tiling, however for the moment the room is mostly usable.

    Coal Fireplace DOWN DOWN An original 1894-1896 Coal Fireplace. Weak Flooring: Due to the damage
in the basement some of the floor in the room is not able to be used.

We currently have the area in front of the fireplace taped off.

The chimney will need a new flue installed and the top of the chimney reconstructed before the fireplace can be used for any type of heating.

removed and the Dead Bolt replace with one that we have a key for. We
are currently replacing the caulking around the windows in the door and
stripping the paint off of the wood.
    Side Door DOWN OPERATIONAL Outside Door that leads to the Basement. The Side door has a Dead Bolt that we do not have a key for, and requires some TLC to get functional again.
    Refrigerator DOWN OPERATIONAL A medium sized refrigerator comes with the house.  
    Kitchen Sink DOWN DISRUPTED A Stainless Steel sink comes with the house. Plumbing: We are using a 5 gallon bottled water tank to wash hands and items in the sink. The sewer connection works.Plumbing: The sink needs to be connected to the water lines to be fully functional.

    Dishwasher DOWN DISRUPTED There is a built-in Dishwasher in the Kitchen. Plumbing: Due to the damage in the basement, the plumbing to the Dishwasher needs to be repaired before it can be used.

    Kitchen Cupboards DOWN DISRUPTED There is a full set of shelves and drawers in the Kitchen. The doors that were damaged have
been taken off and are being looked at to be repaired. 

The insides of
the shelves are usable. Just need a real good cleaning.

The Butler’s Pantry needs to be stripped of all the peeling paint and
once the floor joists are repaired any damage to the walls fixed in
order to put in shelves for the canned food we wish to keep in there.
The cabinets need to be fixed and the current shelf in there removed to
complete the updates to our thoughts about the room.

platform and have 4×4 posts that the Stringers are attached to for
